Merseyside Police have advised us of the following incident: "At 4.30am a male was stood on St Lukes Road, Southport. The male is described as approx 17yrs, wearing all black. As a lone vehicle drove along the road the male started holding his chest and then dropped to his knees. The vehicle slowed but did not stop. When the vehicle had passed the male got up and was met with another male who appeared from bushes at the side of the road and both walked away, seemingly without any issues. It is thought that they may have been trying to cause the vehicle to stop with the intention possibly stealing the car or items within."
